Humility & Discipleship (Is The Prodigal Woke Pt. 2)

In the beginning of part 2 of "Is The Prodigal Woke" Michael and Tyler lead off the discussion with the question "Is Christian freedom slipping away from American culture?" The Bible says that those "who desire to live a godly live will be persecuted" and it seems like we are moving that direction in America now. Culture is changing and with it, people are more openly oppressing Christian's here in the States! Is this what we have to look forward to in the coming years?

Joshua Sherman then takes the wheel and we examine true discipleship. We begin with what it means to bear "good fruit" in evangelism and whether one should focus on themselves primarily and their own progress or other's. In other words, do we remove the speck from our eye first or neglect ourselves to help other's remove their own log?

Tyler then reads Psalm 51 and the guys wrap up this episode with humility. We see our need for a Savior in the "low" times and when we feel broken. Yet, this is the time we NEED to look toward Christ, this is the time we NEED God. You are not to "dirty" to go to the Lord! Like the prodigal...come back to our Father!
